CE,conformite europeenne,is a France phrase.It is the logo of safe products that can be introduced into Europe.This certification basically protect consumers in Europe from being harmed by unsafe products.

RoHS, Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive,was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.The RoHS 1 directive took effect on 1 July 2006, and is required to be enforced and became a law in each member state.[3] This directive restricts (with exceptions) the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment.

FCC,Federal Communications Commission,works towards six goals in the areas of broadband, competition, the spectrum, the media, public safety and homeland security, and modernizing itself.The FCC was formed by the Communications Act of 1934 to replace the radio regulation functions of the Federal Radio Commission. The FCC took over wire communication regulation from the Interstate Commerce Commission. The FCC’s mandated jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the Territories of the United States. The FCC also provides varied degrees of cooperation, oversight, and leadership for similar communications bodies in other countries of North America. The FCC is funded entirely by regulatory fees.

UL is a global safety consulting and certification company headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. It maintains offices in 46 countries. Established in 1894 as the Underwriters’ Electrical Bureau (a bureau of the National Board of Fire Underwriters),[2] it was known throughout the 20th century as Underwriters Laboratories and participated in the safety analysis of many of that century’s new technologies.
